Medical Director overseeing the emergency and critical care departments. Dr. Schmid specializes in the management of life-threatening conditions, stabilization of critical patients, and advanced ICU medicine.

Performs a wide range of advanced surgical procedures including orthopedic, soft tissue, thoracic, abdominal, and oncologic surgeries. Dr. Roca also provides minimally invasive surgical options and leads the development of Bixby’s surgical program.

Specializes in complex internal medicine cases involving the gastrointestinal, renal, hepatic, endocrine, and immune systems. Dr. Kelly is also highly skilled in diagnostic ultrasound and endoscopy, providing advanced imaging and minimally invasive diagnostic capabilities.

We are proud to welcome Dr. Walton, our new Criticalist joining the Emergency & Critical Care team. She brings extensive expertise in stabilizing life-threatening conditions, managing complex ICU patients, and delivering advanced critical care medicine.

We are proud to offer on-site veterinary cardiology appointments 7 days a week with a board-certified veterinary cardiologist. This allows us to provide advanced diagnostics and treatment for pets with suspected or confirmed heart conditions — without the need for an outside referral.

Our cardiology services include:

     - Echocardiography for acquired and congenital heart disease

     - Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation

Working closely with our doctors, our cardiology specialist helps ensure each patient receives an accurate diagnosis and a customized treatment plan to support the best possible quality of life.
